Meet your Therapist!

Hi, I’m Sarah Trevitt

A woman with long reddish-blonde hair, wearing a beige jacket over a black top, sitting on a black sofa with her arms resting on her knees, smiling in front of a colorful abstract mural background.

Nice to (virtually) meet you!

I am a Registered Social Worker (a.k.a. RSW) under the British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW) and the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW). I did my Bachelor of Social Work at McMaster University, then moved to Kelowna to do my Master of Social Work at The University of British Columbia Okanagan. I quickly fell in love with Kelowna as soon as I arrived, and made the easy decision to grow my counselling career here after I graduated.

I have experience working in a shelter for women and children leaving abusive relationships, supporting clients through crisis, safety planning, and the process of rebuilding their lives. This work has deeply shaped my approach to therapy.

I also have experience supporting clients ages 4+, and their parents/caregivers, who have experienced sexual abuse and/or assault. I understand how trauma can impact people across all stages of life, and I strive to create a space where healing can happen at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

Alongside trauma work, I support clients navigating anxiety, OCD, and relationship challenges. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you can show up as you are - free from people-pleasing and self-silencing.

Together, we'll move toward building a life that feels safe, meaningful, and not run by the “what ifs” of a body and brain in survival mode.

When I’m not in the Therapist Chair…

That’s me behind the goggles

I have my best life-reflections in nature and take every opportunity that I can to be outside

In the winter months, I'm an avid snowboarder at Big White.

In the summers, my partner and I love to adventure onto the back roads up to the mountains.
